Liam Veenendal , Joshua Wheatley and Sean Petersen performed in the Trinity College Young performers concert on Saturday 18 September 2017.
Well done to the students and the teachers that prepared them.

Sean Petersen – Piano Grade 8 94%

WP colours in Mathematics Print E-mail
Sean Petersen (Grade 11) was recently selected as a member of the Western Province Senior B Team in Mathematics. 
Sean has obtained Western Province colours since 2015 and is currently ranked as one of the Top 100 senior Mathematicians in the country.
He has continued to excel in all competitions this year, most notably making it to the third round of the South African Mathematics Olympiad, a competition with a record-breaking 100 000 entrants in 2017.
On Saturday, he represented the Province in the Inter-Provincial Mathematics Olympiad held at the University of Cape Town. We eagerly await the results and continue to congratulate him on his outstanding achievements in Mathematics.

New Art and Music Centre Print E-mail

New Art and Music Centre - It is with much excitement, that the beginning of the building work and renovations at Bergvliet High School was acknowledged on Monday 4 September 2017 with a “turning of the sod” ceremony.  This is the biggest building project that the school has undertaken in recent years and it is fitting that in the school's 60th year these renovations are taking place.
