Past pupil Shaun Bengston has done well in the sports world. He matriculated in 2001 after spending some very happy years at Bergvliet High. He moved to the UK some 5 years ago and has since qualified to join the England squad in the touch rugby team. Last year he played with the squad in the European championships and now he has gone on to achieve a great accomplishment, he played in the World Cup games in Edinburgh. |

BHS Past Pupil Sean Rice recently upstaged surkski World Champion Dawid Mocké in the first first race of the summer Discovery Sunglass Hut Surfski Series raced in hot flat conditions at Simonstown on Sunday 17 October. For more details, click here to view the details.

Shelley Christians, a past pupil of Bergvliet High School (2006) and the head cheerleader of the Vodacom Stormerbabes, is the only contestant left representing Cape Town in the SA version So You Think You Can Dance, currently running on SABC1 every Saturday evening at 18:30.
She has made it to the Top 6 (Semi Final) and now needs your help. Voting takes place via sms and lines are only open between 19:30 and 20:30 on Saturdays directly after the show.
