The RCL is the most prestigious body in the school. The council consists of learners from each grade who are elected through a completely democratic process by their fellow learners.The co-chairpersons of the RCL are also the Heads of the School.

The RCL represents the learners of Bergvliet High School with the aim of building unity among learners in the school. They work together with the Governing Body to address the needs of all learners in the school.

RCL representatives have the opportunity to gain valuable leadership and communication skills. It is a challenge worth accepting. Stand for something or fall for everything. Stand for the RCL.
