Tennis

Tennis has always been an extremely popular sport at Bergvliet High School.

We have 4 boys and 4 girls senior teams (competing at various levels in the USSASA Western Province Tennis leagues) as well as Grade 8 teams.

At the end of the first season, the Grade 8 players get the opportunity to challenge and move up the tennis ladder to secure a place in one of the senior teams.

Players in the top two teams (boys and girls) get professional coaching once a week in addition to team practice.

For those who are less competitive, social tennis is a great way to have fun in the fresh air! So, whatever your game is like, grab your racquet and come and join us!

2008 1st Term Results

BHS first boys tennis team (Brett Hilarides, Joseph Baxter, Nevek Littleford and David Gentz) - enjoyed another very successful season winning all their matches played this term, prompting calls for them to be moved up to premier league.

Congratulations on a fine achievement.
