Recycling at BHS
Bring your used cartridges to the recycling dept. and raise money for BHS
A typical cartridge will take up to 1000 years to decompose
- More than 30 million inkjet cartridges are dumped each year in the UK alone (1800 tonnes) the same weight as 18 Blue Whales
- Only between 20-30% of all printer cartridges are currently recycled
- Industry annalists estimate a spent cartridge can be reused or remanufactured between 3 to 7 times.
Bergvliet cubs join in recycling at Bergvliet High
This year ‘Recycling’ is the theme of the National Challenge at Bergvliet Cub Pack.
To help them obtain their Recycling badge the cubs have been helping out at Bergvliet High’s recycling depot on Saturdays mornings

2008 NOTICE

As a matter of interest, the team raised R114 000 last year, the highest amount yet!
