Cape Town Big Band Festival - what started off as a one night-only affair has since grown into a three day jam-packed festival with music by alumni, school and college bands. The Festival - unique in South Africa and devised by the late Dennis Barr in 1999 - has become the annual showcase of school and college talent in big band jazz, this year 21 bands will participate.
