Subjects for Grade 11 are as follows. There are 4 compulsory subjects, and 3 more are chosen from a choice of 3 to make a total of 7 subjects.

Compulsory subjects: English First Language and Life Orientation, Afrikaans First or Second Language, and Mathematics or Mathematics Literacy.

Choice one: Accounting, Business Studies, Consumer Studies¹, History, Life Science and Music.

Choice two: Computer Application Technology², Consumer Studies¹, Physical Science³, Life Science

Choice 3: Accounting, Business Studies, Computer Application Technology², Geography, History, Life Science, Visual Art, Tourism

NOTES:

1. Consumer Studies has a maximum of 40 learners per class.
2. Computer Application Technology has a maximum of 38 learners per class.
3. In order to take Physical Science, Mathematics must be taken as well.
