Under the current system only 32 approved posts are paid by the state. All other costs have to be financed by school fees, the payment of which is compulsory. Fees may be paid for the year in advance or over ten months (February to November), preferably by debit order.
The fees for 2012 are R17,800 per learner.
Specialised Music fees are R4,900 for 2012 (applicable to Grades 8 & 9 only)
The Voluntary Development Fund remains at R500.
VOLUNTARY DEVELOPMENT FUND
Parents will note that a Voluntary Payment to the above Fund has been added to your Statement. This is entirely voluntary. The money raised from this donation is used to fund improvements to the school facilities.
