FACILITIES AVAILABLE FOR HIRE

950 SEATER AUDITORIUM

The Bergvliet High School Hall consists of an entrance foyer, a 950-seat auditorium (seats are not numbered), M and F change-rooms backstage, M and F toilets for the audience, fixed stage with general lighting (no movable spotlights) and basic microphones. The above are the standard facilities, which are inclusive in the booking fee. Additional requirements (sound, lighting, smoke machine, piano, seating/tables etc) as well as the use of the schools media crew (which is obligatory), are charged separately.

SPORTS (GYM) HALL

The Gym Hall is also available for hire and can be used as additional rehearsal space and changing facilities. In addition, the Gym Hall has a kitchen that can also be hired.

The Gym Hall has been used for TV shoots, music performances, art exhibitions etc.

PAVILION

The Bergvliet High School Pavilion can accommodate 100 people for a cocktail type function. The facilities contain M and F toilets, kitchen facilities and a balcony. Plastic chairs and trestle tables, as well as cutlery, crockery and glasses can be hired at an additional cost.
